Built from an Ikea cart, I added spac es for 2 grinders, places for the grinder supplies & welder tools, a rod for C-locking pliers, and moved the middle shelf. Final form will have a retractable cord reel permanently mounted so I can leave the grinders plugged into it and just plug the cart into the wall.
This was in my prior garage reno post, but it was pointed out ppl might not scroll to the bottom of the pics on that one.

Are there 7 tape measures in that last pic?

Measure 7x, cut once.

Measure once, with each tape measure, then cut once, and then again because you weren’t confident of your tape measure and left too much material.

Looking good, I just have my crap on a harbor freight welding cat & scattered around the garage.

that is a yardstick screwed to the wall just to hold tape measures. I am infamous for losing tape measures, so my partner got me a half dozen for X mas. Then I organized the garage and found a bunch. There are probably another 3-5 sitting in various places on the benches.

Before I built this, my two grinders and all wheels were in a plastic CVS
shopping basket I found on the side of the road.

And here I thought I was the only one with the dreaded tape measure repulsion ability!
What's on the bottom shelf of your cart? Not a lot of space to slide something in.

I have similar problems, so bought a second tape, second socket set, second SAE wrench set for when things go missing and I don't want to waste time looking.

Right now just some scrap to keep it from being top heavy. Eventually I'll mae a better weight and put the retractor reel that and itll basically be where the extra cord lives so it doesn't drag on the ground.
